How to make candy paste for bees

SUGAR CANDY FOR BEE

It is a solid sugar food offered to bees in the winter season and it differs from the protein dough in terms of ingredients. Candi dough is a sugary one that replaces the sugar solution when the cold intensifies, whether in the fall or in the winter. The candy dough is an energetic food that gives the bees enough energy to warm the hive from the inside. And bees can also store it in wax tires after turning it into honey

Ingredients of sugar candy paste

Fine sugar or powdered sugar.
Honey solution, i.e. water mixed with natural honey. If it is not available, use artificial honey or well concentrated sugar with water. It is advisable to take water soaked from wormwood.
Cinnamon powder or dracaena teaspoon per 01 kg.
Vitamin such as Apiforce or biagra: Added quantities according to the information on the sachet.
Natural apple cider vinegar so that the dough does not ferment one tablespoon per 03 kg of dough

How to prepare candy dough

There are two ways to prepare bee feeding sugar candy

The first method

First, the honey solution is mixed with natural vinegar in a bottle or cup directly after that, fine sugar is mixed with vitamins and cinnamon well, then the honey solution is added according to the amount of sugar and mixed well, either by hands or with an electric mixer. After we complete the mixing process well, we notice the shape of the candy. No, if it is liquid, we add fine sugar to it and mix again until it becomes solid and easy to consume. This dough is placed in plastic bags and closed with a thin tape so that air does not enter it because it helps dry it and is presented to the bees directly above the tires in the center of the cell before placing it in the middle The bag is a hole, the goal of placing it in the center of the hive above the discs or tires is to bring it closer to the bees gathered in the center of the hive.

The second way

The ingredients for this dough

 liter of water.
 03kg fine sugar.
Two tablespoons of natural apple cider vinegar.
100grams of natural honey, if it is not available, use artificial honey or concentrated sugar well with water
The quantity obtained is 3.3 kg.

How to prepare

The water boils well and the fine sugar is added to it little by little with stirring with a spoon and stirring well until the sugar dissolves with the water, meaning the mixture becomes transparent and then left to boil well without stirring and when the temperature reaches 90 degrees Celsius we add honey then after the temperature reaches 115 degrees we turn off the fire and leave The dough cools to a temperature of 60 degrees directly after that we add two tablespoons of natural apple cider vinegar and mix the dough with an electric mixer, and if we mix with the hands, it is found that the use of gloves is used because it burns the hands. Put them in bags when they are cold and close these bags so that air does not enter, as it contributes to making them dry.
